Here's what changed on domainworth.si this week.
Private appraisals
Not every name you check is one you want the world to see. Every appraisal form now has a Private appraisal box. Tick it and the estimate works exactly as before, but the name stays out of recent appraisals, off the home page and out of our sitemap, and search engines are asked not to index its report. The report's own link still works, so you can keep it or send it to someone.
Privacy belongs to the appraisal, not to the name. If someone else appraised the same name publicly before you, or does later, it shows up in the lists because of their appraisal.
Every recorded sale of a name, on its report
If a name has sold before, its report now says so right under the key facts: the price, the marketplace, the date, and whether the sale is confirmed or only reported. Auction results get a note, since they're wholesale prices. A past sale of the exact name is the strongest evidence there is of what it's worth, so it belongs at the top. When we have no sale on record, the report says so and links to the form for reporting one.
Browse every .si appraisal
domainworth.si/appraisals lists every public .si appraisal, newest first, 24 to a page. Search the names, sort by value or from A to Z, and filter by value, from under $500 to $10,000 and up. Cards show when a name has sold and when it's listed for sale. The home page shows the six latest.
A fresher "might be available"
Reports are kept for a few weeks. Whether a name is registered can change within the hour right now. So each report checks the name again when you open it, if the last check is more than a few hours old, and a name with no registration says it might be available, with when we checked. More than 7,000 .si names were registered in a single day this month. Look before you get attached to one.
Reserved names now say who they're reserved for. si.si, for example, is held for the needs of the Slovenian government, under clause 4.5 of the .si General Terms.
Follow us on X
domainworth.si is on X as @DomainWorthSI. We post big .si sales as they're reported, names worth registering that nobody has taken yet, auctions worth watching and the daily sales numbers. Follow along there, and tell us what you'd like to see.
